About Me

I'm currently a news features intern at The Philadelphia Inquirer. I'm also studying for a BA in creative writing at The University of Chicago, and am a deputy news editor for its independent student newspaper, The Chicago Maroon. (Before that, I served as the editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper The Rampage.) I also do freelance reporting.

During internships and freelance work for The Inquirer, The Jerusalem Post and The Jewish Link, I've covered a mix of hyperlocal and international news, including some significant stories and breaking news for JPost.

My journalism has been referenced in POLITICO Illinois Playbook and (believe it or not!) Wikipedia.

I've also done creative and communications work for University of Chicago Hillel, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Ramaz School. (This website is focused around my journalism and writing, which is separate from that work.)

Outside of journalism and writing, I enjoy rushing around campus to class (usually on time), watching Netflix on a friend's account, and discovering new places by public transit. I've also dabbled in film and semi-professional photography, as well as Jewish lay leadership.
